24 HOUR OPENING STARTS 1ST October! ==
We are excited to confirm the gym will be open 24 hours a day on a Monday to Friday from 1st October! A few bits of important information:
- The front doors will be closed. members can open the door from a new scanner point outside the front door… IF YOU FORGET YOUR FOB STAFF WILL NOT OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU.
- Access between 10pm-5am is for members only—Members guests will not be permitted!
- Reception will be staffed along with the normal night cleaning team
- PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHANGING ROOM ACCESS BETWEEN 10PM-5AM—Toilets are available in other areas of the building…. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE WATER WILL BE TURNED OFF IN EACH CHANGING ROOM AT 9.50PM EACH NIGHT…
Class Booking
As previously announced the current class booking system is simply not working as well as it should do… Over the last week I have been closely monitoring attendance and sadly it has come to light that a disappointing 407 members did not attend a booked classes… This is simply just not fair on members who can’t book on if the class is showing full (and ends up then been half empty) … SO FROM 1ST OCTOBER…
- If you can’t, make a class you must cancel the class 90 minutes before…
- If a member does not attend a booked class on two separate occasions over a 30-day period, then they will receive a lifetime ban from booking a class….
- Members who do not attend a class will receive an initial warning text. ( This weeks teething issues have now been fixed)
Some other considerations:
- Please only book a class if you are going to attend and not just book the class in case you do…
- I am also aware the biggest issue is lifetime members booking two classes two weeks in advance and then not attending either of them. So I am seriously considering if the new system doesn’t work then we will go back to the pre lock down rule of only one booking a day (though you would still be able to do as many classes as you want if the instructor says there is space)
- If you are on waiting list and you then get moved up to be able to attend the class, and then you will still need to cancel up to 10 mins before the class starts ( AS THE ABOVE ONLY GO ON THE WAITING LIST IF YOU CAN DEFINATLY ATTEND THE CLASS)
Apple Wallet Update!
From the 1st October we are giving you the opportunity to change the membership fob to a access card that you can put in your phone’s apple wallet— The upgrade cost for this is £2.99, (COVERS OUR COST) …. This can be done at reception … (PLEASE NOTE YOU CAN NOT HAVE BOTH A FOB AND THE APPLE WALLET CARD OPTION)
