As part of our 2 million-pound improvements we are adding additional foot spas to the Fire & Ice Spa .. To allow this to happen we are installing additional drainage this Tuesday 18th December at 7pm. THIS DOES UNFORTUNATELY MEAN THE POOL & FIRE ICE SPA WILL CLOSE AT 7PM TUESDAY AND WILL THEN REOPEN ON WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 5AM….
Please note as previously announced the older of the two Hydro pools will be closed from Thursday 20th until 24th December to allow for maintenance, the glass fronted sauna will be closed from 7pm Tuesday until the 24th to allow for the new drains to be completed and also the Hydro pool next to the swimming pool will be closed on the 24th December for maintenance..
I do apologise for any inconveniences, but I am sure you do appreciate these are small losses for some very big gains!
2 MILLION POUND IMPROVEMENTS UPDATE!!
As you are probably aware the building contractors are racing ahead, with our completing phase one of our 2 million-pound improvements programme by January.
To confirm we will be adding:
· A fabulous new café area with a waterfall and a speciality ceiling
· A dry relaxation area in the day spa. A place just to relax and read a book
· A new Herbal Infusion steam room, an additional Hot Box sauna, 4 additional foot spas and 11 additional heated loungers.
· An additional 7 treatment rooms to increase availability while also refurbishing the current treatment rooms.
· Extending the meet & greet treatment area in the day spa.
I am also delighted to announce the work on the previously announced extension to the male changing room will also start this week too… This extension is scheduled to open in March 2019
In 2019 we will be working hard on phase two of the 2 million pound programme by, subject to approval from the relevant authorities, creating a new floor in the loft space of the mill to add an additional 80 pieces of fitness equipment and an additional group exercise studio.
On a separate note we will be launching the awesome new group exercise timetable in January and I am chasing a delivery date for the eagerly awaited delivery of the plate loaded hip thrust for our awesome sports performance centre.
