Happy 15Th Birthday Clifford Health Club!
Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun!… On the 15th of this month will see us celebrate our 15th year since we took over from The New wave Fitness Centre. When I started we had a space of 5000sqft, just 60 pieces of old equipment and one old rickety sauna!…. I never dreamt in a million years that 15 years later we would have:
- 75,000 sqft of space
- 700 pieces of equipment
- 3 studios
- Hot yoga
- A swimming pool
- 2 hydro therapy pools
- 19 Sauna & steam rooms in the fire & ice spa
- And the waterfall café
What a journey! To repeat I can’t thank the loyal members, the ever-returning spa guests and unbelievable hardworking team of staff… THANK YOU ALL! … p.s the journey isn’t over with our £2.5 million improvements plan!!
The Fabulous Rainforest Spa
The much awaited and exciting new 3000sqft of spa facilities is now all set to open on Monday 20th June. Unfortunately, the building contractors had some delivery issues (like the whole country) on the new internal stairs that connects the fire & ice spa and the rainforest experience… The spa team will be in touch with any guests booked in from the 6th-20th……. It really is going to be something very special!
Loft Studio Disruption…
Unfortunately, late yesterday we became aware the wrong fire repellent spay has been applied to all the fabulous flowers in the loft studio. As the greenery covers both fire exits the decision has been made to close the loft studio until the correct product has been applied. the target date for reopening is this Wednesday 8th June. The current plan for the classes until this point is:
Friday 3rd
7.40am Vinyassa Yoga- class going ahead ✅
-Moved to Main Studio.
10.30am Core & Abs- class going ahead ✅ -Moved to Studio 2.
12pm Hatha Yoga- class going ahead ✅
-Moved to Main Studio.
Saturday 4th
9.15am Barre-cancelled ❌
10.15am Hatha Yoga- cancelled ❌
11.30am Hot Yoga- class can go ahead as normal yoga in main studio ✅

11am Flow Yoga-class going ahead ✅
