HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Happy New Year to all our loyal members and spa guests.
Finally, over the next couple of months we will see an end to the scarring the business suffered from the pandemic. As, like the last 17 years, we will now use all available and the additional resources to make improvements all over the health club and the spa as we look to create something very special indeed. The improvements budget has now increased to a fabulous £3.5 million….
The planned improvements and timeframes are as below.
JANUARY:
- Refurbishment and decoration of all treatment rooms
- Delivery of 30 new spin bikes
- Refurbishment and decoration of all the group exercise studios and the sports performance centre
- Delivery of new storage racks and cable attachments for the weights floor
- Wall plants added to the Loft Studio
- Final decoration of the male changing room including mirrors and a feature wall
FEBRUARY
- The ladies changing room refurbishment with a £300k budget which will include:
· New layout
· New décor and colour scheme throughout
· New changing cubicles
· New Lockers
· New Vanity units
· Retiling of all floors
· Additional changing benches
· New themed ceilings and walls
Please note the work will be carried out at night so there will be little disruptions to the facilities.
APRIL
Delivery of 22 pieces of Hammer Strength select equipment and a Life Fitness 5 station cable jungle . All for the static resistance area.
JULY
We are planning a major refurbishment of the main pool area.. The refurbishment has a budget of £750k and will include:
- An additional 10-person Hydrotherapy pool
- A new waterfall (similar to the one in Waterfall café and placed at the clock end of the pool)
- Retiling and new decoration and new ceiling
- New lounger/seating layout
This does mean the pool area will be closed for three weeks in July however believe me this is a small loss for a VERY VERY BIG GAIN.
OTHER AREAS UNDER THOUGHT
- Extending the waterfall café by 30%
- Installing a ice plunge pool in the current ice igloo
NEW TIMETABLE:
The awesome new timetable is all set to start on Monday 8th January… It can be viewed at www.cliffordhealthclub.co.uk Due to some technical issues on the booking system the new classes wont be available for booking until Tuesday 2nd January.
